Scripture: Jeremiah 1:4-19; 11:18-19; 12:1-5; 29:11-14 What does it mean to stay faithful when life becomes hard? In this sermon, we are taken through the life of the prophet Jeremiah, a man called by God before he was born, yet deeply familiar with fear, opposition, injustice, and suffering. Through biblical reflection and personal stories of faith, mission, and perseverance, this message challenges us to choose resilience over retreat and courage over mediocrity. As we begin a new year, this sermon asks an important question: will we shuffle along with the crowd, or will we run with the horses? Anchored in God’s promises and strengthened by spiritual disciplines, we are reminded that God is with us, knows us, and is faithful to complete the work He has begun in us. A timely and encouraging message for anyone facing uncertainty, pressure, or discouragement in their walk with God.
