Scripture: Colossians 3:1-17 Series: Colossians: Sustained By Christ (Week 4) In this message, we’re reminded that as followers of Jesus, we’re called to take off the old self and put on the new self — to clothe ourselves in Christ. Using a lighthearted illustration about dressing up, this sermon looks at how easily we pick up false identities shaped by culture, career, or other people’s expectations. But God invites us to step into who we truly are in Him: chosen, holy, forgiven, and deeply loved. As we walk through this passage together, we’re challenged to let go of anger, bitterness, and pride, and instead put on compassion, kindness, humility, and love. Challenge: What will you divest - take off, put to death? And what will you invest - put on, through Christ's covering?
