Send A Gift Filled Shoebox
You can help bring joy to a child this Christmas, while also sharing the good news of Jesus with them.
Take a flatpack pre-printed shoebox home, or find a suitably sized shoebox and wrap it, then fill it with all sorts of gifts using the guide.
Then bring your shoeboxes back to church by Shoebox Sunday on September 28th.
Each box needs $12.50 to cover shipping costs. You can bring that with the shoebox, or send it via direct debit to the church with the reference "Shoeboxes".

What is Operation Christmas Child?

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organisation. This project is a hands-on way for you to demonstrate God’s love to children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts.
We collect the gift-filled shoeboxes and send them to local partners around the world that use them as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. After receiving gift-filled shoeboxes, many children accept an invitation to participate in The Greatest Journey discipleship program and millions of children each year are making decisions to follow Christ.
Since 1993, more than 232 million children in more than 100 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox, and over 23 million children have made decisions to follow Christ after participating in The Greatest Journey. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.
