We were blessed to worship together and hear “inspiring” testimonies of God’s demonstrated love. We continued with part two, of “What’s the world coming to?” from Matthew 24 and Jesus’ prophetic words of encouragement. Jesus spoke of the many events that would take place over all eras in increasing intensity, until his glorious return.
As such, human activity increasing Global disasters & kindness, and Global persecution & conversion. With Christ’s glorious appearing, it will be Global-powerful & unmissable, and Global-gathering & dividing.
Matthew 25:31-33 (NRSV) “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
I’m currently persuaded that the words of Jesus on the Mount of Olives where for correction, unity, courage, perseverance, wisdom, expectancy, and hope. May these be true for each of us in our time.
We look forward to this Sunday with a message from Jackie on Matthew 25 and hear more from our mission Cluster as this is third “Going” Sunday of the month.
